  • The hall of silence - In the Jewish museum in Berlin is this exhibit. You walk though several empty rooms hearing high pitch talking on the way to this room full of metal faces. As you walk on the faces, the metal faces hit each other, producing the high pitch talking like sound you heard before. Very very creepy.

  • Siegessaule - Located in the center of a huge green space in the center of Berlin (Tiergarten), this column commemorates the victory of the Prusso-Danish war of 1864. The statue on top was built in 1871 to represent the victory against France and Austria. We climbed over 250 steps to get to the observation deck on top of this 69 meter statue.
