Siegessaule - Located in the center of a huge green space in the center of Berlin (Tiergarten), this column commemorates the victory of the Prusso-Danish war of 1864. The statue on top was built in 1871 to represent the victory against France and Austria. We climbed over 250 steps to get to the observation deck on top of this 69 meter statue.
